Art Submissions

The Grinnell Review only accepts submissions from current Grinnell College students (this includes students studying abroad).

Submissions to the Fall 2017 issue of the Grinnell Review are due October 23 at 11:59PM

Each student can submit up to five written works and/or five visual art pieces.

All submissions will remain anonymous during committee selections.

Guidelines:

  • Make the filename the title of your submission
  • Include your first and last name in the [name field] and your Grinnell email address in the [email field].
  • Needs to be in JPEG or TIFF format
  • The submitted image must have a dimension larger than 500 pixels at 300 dpi.
  • Images must be smaller than 5 MB.
  • Artwork should not have your name on it as to keep the selection process anonymous. (If there is a signature or some other identifying mark that you cannot get rid of, please email us and give us a heads up so that we can remove it for the selection process.)
  • If you would like to submit artwork but do not have a picture or scanned copy that meets our requirements, please let us know and we can assist you. We also have documentation workshops at the beginning of the semester where we take pictures of your artwork for you to submit later!

If you have any trouble submitting or have any questions, feel free to contact us here. Thank you so much for contributing to The Grinnell Review!
